چکیده

Abstract This article contains a summary of the White Paper submitted in 2019 to ESA Voyage 2050 process, which was subsequently published EPJ Quantum Technology (AEDGE Collaboration et al. Quant. Technol. 7 ,6 2020). We propose this concept for space experiment using cold atoms search ultra-light dark matter, and detect gravitational waves frequency range between most sensitive ranges LISA terrestrial LIGO/Virgo/KAGRA/INDIGO experiments. interdisciplinary experiment, called Atomic Experiment Dark Matter Gravity Exploration (AEDGE), will also complement other planned searches exploit synergies with wave detectors. give examples extended sensitivity matter offered by AEDGE, how its gravitational-wave measurements could explore assembly super-massive black holes, first-order phase transitions early universe cosmic strings. AEDGE be based upon technologies now being developed experiments atoms, benefit from experience obtained with, e.g., atom microgravity.

Singlet scalar dark matter in noncommutative space

In this paper, we examine the singlet scalar dark matter annihilation to becoming the Standard Model particles in the non-commutative space. In the recent decades, many candidates of dark matter have been offered,  but our information about  the nature of dark matter is still limited. There are such particle candidates as  scalar matetr, fermion, boson, gauge boson, etc.; however, they have nei...

Conformal Gravity: Dark Matter and Dark Energy

This short review examines recent progress in understanding dark matter, dark energy, and galactic halos using theory that departs minimally from standard particle physics and cosmology. Strict conformal symmetry (local Weyl scaling covariance), postulated for all elementary massless fields, retains standard fermion and gauge boson theory but modifies Einstein–Hilbert general relativity and the...

Atomic Dark Matter

We propose that dark matter is dominantly comprised of atomic bound states. We build a simple model and map the parameter space that results in the early universe formation of hydrogen-like dark atoms. We find that atomic dark matter has interesting implications for cosmology as well as direct detection: Protohalo formation can be suppressed below Mproto ∼ 10 − 106M⊙ for weak scale dark matter ...

Bi-metric Gravity and " Dark Matter "

We present a bi-metric theory of gravity containing a length scale of galactic size. For distances less than this scale the theory satisfies the standard tests of General Relativity. For distances greater than this scale the theory yields an effective gravitational constant much larger than the locally observed value of Newton's constant. The transition from one regime to the other through the ...

Dark Matter Detection in Space

We live in interesting times: we know dark matter exists, and we now know how much. At the same time, we have very little idea what it is, other than that it can’t be any known particle. Cosmology therefore provides the longawaited quantitative evidence for new particle physics. The dark matter problem is arguably our strongest beacon, an unambiguous and fundamental, yet approachable, problem p...
